Piece of Cake
We believe it will bring EU legislation closer to business and citizens by opening space for discussion with lawmakers.
Head of EU Policy at URANIA and EU Public Affairs Manager at UTOPIA, she was born and raised on the Croatian Adriatic coast in Vodice. Andrea obtained her double master’s degree at the University of International Relations and Diplomacy Dag Hammarskjöld and Libertas International University in Zagreb. Passionate about politics since an early age, she enrolled as the youngest elected member of the Regional Assembly and was elected the first female Secretary General of the biggest youth political organisation in Europe. After an internship in the European Parliament and one of the leading political think-tanks in Brussels, upon the Croatian accession to the EU, Andrea joined the European Parliament, where she led the office of a Croatian MEP and was in charge of relations with the EU and Croatian institutions. She ran a variety of campaigns and training courses for a number of NGOs, and participated in global education programs, of which her favourite is the Women’s Campaign School at Yale University. She gained experience in public relations, media and public affairs as a Senior Consultant Expert in the largest Croatian public affairs agency, but her passion for EU affairs (and Italian culture) brought her back to Bruxelles. She loves food, believes in pink and saves her holidays for the Croatian National Football Team’s matches during big championships.
