The EU Parliament backs a bold Water Resilience Strategy, urging strong action on one of Europe’s key environmental and social challenges.
As EU Public Affairs Account of our international Brussels Office, Sara takes care of legislative monitoring for energy, environment and sustainability clients. Born in Rome, Sara studied Literature at the University of Catania, International Cooperation in Ravenna and European Studies at LUISS Guido Carli. Passionate about EU affairs, she moved to Brussels for a stage in public affairs in a lobbying firm, and then got fascinated with energy issues, working in policy and communication at the European Energy Research Alliance (EERA). Sara started working in UTOPIA in 2023, as EU Public Affairs Account, dealing in particular with energy, environment and sustainability. Following politics even when she is not doing monitoring, she is active on issues of legality, Europe and the green transition. If she is wearing her headphones, she is probably listening to podcasts, almost certainly true crime.

Social, democratic, sustainable. These are the watchwords of the Congress of PES that took place in Rome on 1-2 March 2024.
