Economy: Dombrovskis, ‘In 2030 the RRF will have disbursed 100 billion euros’

‘The Council endorsed the new national plans submitted by Spain and Italy and gave a brief update on the current situation regarding the Recovery and Resilience Instrument. The total disbursements amount to more than 232 billion euros and go to 25 member states under the pre-financing campaign. We should receive 21 more disbursement requests by the end of the year’. This was said by Valdis Dombrovskis, European Commission Vice-President for Economic Affairs and Trade Commissioner at the press conference following the Economic and Financial Affairs Council in Brussels. ‘If all goes according to our plans, by 2030 the RRF will have disbursed EUR 100 billion and more than 300 billion euros since the start of the facility,’ he concluded.
