EU-San Marino: Beccari, “No longer possible to walk alone today”

San Marino’s Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Luca Beccari met in Brussels European Commission Executive Vice President Maroš Šefčovič and Andorra Prime Minister Xavier Espot on the occasion of the finalisation of the Association Agreement. ‘In these nine years, the negotiation to reach an agreement such as the one we obtained in December I believe has certainly represented the highest level of relations between San Marino, Andorra and the European Union,’ Beccari said. The negotiations to reach this agreement, which provides for the participation of the two states in the Union’s Internal Market and cooperation in other political and social areas, were, in fact, very long. ‘I believe that today a new horizon of cooperation between San Marino, Andorra and the European Union is even more open,’ Beccari added.
